Shihan Jason Carter “Kyoshi” ~ Nyingje Norbu
Mr. Carter’s martial arts career spans over half of his life. He started his martial arts training when he was 11 years old in the art of “Black Dragon Kung Fu”. He then went of to practice the art of “Judo” a few years later at
the age of 13. He has gone on to train in the art of “Shotokan Karate” which he presently holds the rank of 3rd Dan in. He received this rank from a great Karate & Jujitsu Master, Hanshi Lance Anderson. Sensei
Carter has also done extensive studying and training in the arts of Jujitsu as well. He also presently holds the rank of 4th
Dan and the title of “Shihan” in the Jujitsu art of Seishindo. He had the honor of receiving his Shodan in Seishindo from the founder himself, Shodai Soke Steve Lonsdale. Shihan Carter continued to study and train in a variety
of Jujitsu’s and locking/controlling arts. In 2002 he founder his own Jujitsu Ryu, called Nyingbulam. It is a very rugged Jujitsu system that combines heavy strikes with locks, throws and pressure points, from the Japanese arts of
Jujitsu & Karate. It covers all areas of defense, from the standing to the ground and all areas in between, including defenses from weapons. Since its inception, many National & International Federations have recognized
Nyingbulam Ryu Jujitsu. The martial arts community first recognized it as an official martial system back in 2004. In the spring of 2007 he was given the title and license of “Kyoshi” in his Ryu. It was also at that time recognized
by the “European Jujitsu / Jujitsu Union”, “International Jujitsu Federation” as well as the “Nippon Seibukan” in Kyoto, Japan. And now is under the International Council of Sports Science and Physical Education [ICSSPE] and the
