F. I. S. T. - W. S. (Wapon-Self-Defense) - modern art of kobudo -

The F.I.S.T.-W.S. system has arisen from the F.I.S.T. in 1996, it deals with the possible aids of the defence and traditional weapons of the Kobudo, such as stick, Tonfa, Sai, Katana, knife etc. it also sees itself as a real alone defence system however with a sporting in front of leading character. To be able to defend himself against a weapon successfully, one must have understood the working with it.

F.I.S.T.-W.S. stands out considerably from the traditional Budo weapons associations through it.
There is a classification system with altogether 9 divisions in which examinations can be taken. Different weapons contain these divisions, the variety therefore is very big.

Examinations from other weapon associations are appreciated and transfered as of blue belt, a short sighting is carried out as of green belts.

(Waffen Selbstverteidigung)

Das F.I.S.T. W.S. System ist 1996 aus dem F.I.S.T. entstanden, es beschäftigt sich mit den möglichen Hilfsmitteln der Verteidigung und traditionellen Waffen des Kobudo, wie Stock, Tonfa, Sai, Katana, Messer usw. Es versteht sich ebenfalls als reales Selbstverteidigungssystem, jedoch mit sportlichem Vorführcharakter. Um sich gegen eine Waffe erfolgreich verteidigen zu können, muß man den Umgang mit ihr verstanden haben.

W.S. hebt sich deutlich von den traditionellen Budo-Waffen-Verbänden ab.

Es gibt ein Graduierungssystem mit insgesamt 9 Sparten, in denen Prüfungen abgelegt werden können. Diese Sparten beinhalten unterschiedliche Waffen, somit ist die Vielfalt sehr groß. Prüfungen aus anderen Waffenverbänden werden anerkannt und ab Blaugurt übertragen.
